Default Restoring my wheels.

So, for the past few days, I've found myself quite bored around the house, so I started to clean up/restore a set of wheels that I've had for quite a bit of time.

They're a set of 16x8 Work Equip knockoffs, although they are made by Rays, high quality knock off wheels I guess? The Rays logo is stamped on the inside of the barrel, and they are 2 piece wheels, with Rays "Nuts" holding the spoke part of the wheel to the barrel. This is where I'm running into issues, I don't have the "key" to take apart the wheels, as I'm polishing the lip, and plan on having the spokes powdercoated. Actually i'm trying to decide what color right now, it's between Army Green (color of the car they're going on), Gloss Black, Dark Bronze, or possibly a Gold (gramlights) color.

Process:
I sanded the lips with 400 (wet), then sanded them with 1000 (wet), then used mothers metal polish to polish them up. They are close to where I would like them, but far from perfect, so I plan on going over them with 2000 (wet) and polishing them much further. I'm going to try to get as close to mirror polished as possible, by wet-sanding/hand polishing. Just showing some progress pictures. :ty:

what I they look like after a ROUGH polish, with no sanding.

What they look like so far.

Yeah I figured it out pretty quickly haha

Oh, and as for now, color scheme is going to be satin black spokes, with a polished lip (eventually the lip will be the color of the car)
