Default question for the engine builder guru's...

ok heres the deal

i have a B18B block, with an ITR oil pump and i think an ITR water pump, or might be an LS water pump not sure?

so my question is this, what timing covers are compatible and what are the differences...?

thanx in advance and any usefull responses will be repped.

not a guru and far from it but from what i have heard you will have to trim the ls timing civer a bit to work with the type R oil pump. where it need sto be trimmed a guru will have to answer that.

Also, the obd1 and obd2 oil pumps are different, and the covers that go over them are different.

^yup you need a obd2 cover if you have a obd2 oilpump i would not try and fit the obd0,1 cover cause it will still have space for water to get in .as far as water pump you would have to take a picture and we can tell you if ls or vtec.
