but yeah i'm not sure how wrecks effect your "safe driver" status..

when me and my friends got our license my friends that took drivers ed had the safe driver and i didnt take it and i didnt have it on mine thats what i thought it was.

Wierd. I've gotten my license suspended and this was 5 yrs ago and I still have Safe Driver on mine. Yes, its a new one since I've moved I don't know how many times since and had to do address changes.
I've also had my share of traffic violations from speeding to no u-turn.
So I think its something else. Before I got my driver's license years upon years ago... I took some driving courses. Don't know if that plays a part of it.
I've also heard you lose it if you've gotten into any major accidents. I haven't caused any... I've gotten hit though a few times in the past.
I really don't know what they use to determine it as far as when you should have it and when you should no longer have it.
