racing accident on 19 today

What happened? does anyone know? There was a crx with an 18 year old driver in it involved. Im pretty sure he is the one who died. Anyone know more than this?

sucks when you have old people pullin out infront of street racers. I say old people who pull out infront of you should be ticketed. it like they say, 1-2-3 my turn.... instead of really looking before they pull out.

Trooper Larry Coggins said two cars were racing side by side at speeds in excess of 100 mph. They reached an intersection near U.S. 19 and Alderman, where one of the cars hit an SUV and flipped four or five times, ejecting the driver. Another vehicle had its roof completely sheared off.
I guess that means it's the SUV's fault. Damn things always getting in the way of steet ricers.

Fatal accident on U.S. 19 and Alderman Road
Tuesday, August 1, 2006
One person is dead and three are in serious condition after a fatal accident occurred Tuesday morning on U.S. 19 and Alderman Road.
Trooper Larry Coggins said two people were racing side by side at speeds in excess of 100 miles. They reached an intersection near U.S. and Alderman where one of the cars hit an SUV and flipped four or five times ejecting the driver. Another vehicle had its roof completely sheared off.
FHP said people were trapped in one of the vehicles, and there were a number of another vehicles involved in the accident.
Traffic on northbound 19 is closed. Motorists should use McMullen Booth Road or Belcher Road on the other side of Alderman.
