Default Directions to Deland?

It looks like CFRSolo2.com is down and I didn't print out the flyer for this weekend's Deland event... Anyone have the flyer, or can you post directions to the Deland site?

Thanks!

Yeah, we found it fine. Not a bad site. Dunno if it was worth a 2 hour drive...

The Miata, well...

I think we have a fuel starvation problem. Coming out of the u-turn it hesitated for a second, then took off again... It does it on hard acceleration in 1st gear, too. Bizarre.

Oh, and it needs shocks. BADLY, haha.

were you running on under 1/4 tank of gas?
that could be the problem, although i have never experienced that problem in my 94 and always run with under 1-4 tank.

btw konis rule!

I've heard of a bad fuel pressure regulator causing that kind of problem. Also... are you sure it's fuel starvation? Miatas are notorious for eating plug wires... could be an intermittent plug wire.

It did it both on an almost empty tank (at the autocross) and on about half a tank (when I got home).

It's not the wires... Stu put a new set of NGK blues on it for me...

The battery wasn't secured too well, so I stopped by Pep Boys and bought a generic tie down kit which does NOT fit well with the Miata battery setup, haha. But I jury rigged it in there... I also made sure all the plug wires were tight at both ends...

Now, I'm not sure if it was the battery sliding around, or the wires, or the battery being disconnected and resetting the ECU, but the damn thing ran perfectly. I let it warm up, then flogged it around town for about an hour and it was dead solid perfect.

Absolutely BIZARRE.

I guess I'll look up the FPR in my handy dandy Rod's 1.8L manual tonight, haha.

As much as it kills me, I'm gonna have to pass on G-Vizzle this weekend. Jeremy and I are gonna try to get some brakes on the car... And the Konis are in the mail!

Looks like I won't be able to make Gainesville either. The Koni's just came in yesterday, but I won't be able to get the rear upper mount welded in by Sunday. If I can retrofit the old mount to work, I might make it, but that's not looking very likely.
