F/S or F/T 95 Jetta GLX VR6 5 speed
F/S or F/T 95 Jetta GLX VR6 5 speed
Up for sale is my 95 jetta glx vr6. 135k miles. $2200.This car is my daily so the mileage is climbing slowly. It runs like a champ and has plenty of power for a daily. I am trying to sell this car because I want to get back into a rear wheel drive and a car I have had my eye on has come available but I need to sell this car to buy it.
Pros:
I have replaced many parts on the car including: Throttle position sensor, cam position sensor, crank position sensor, coil pack, wires, plugs, stainless steel coolant pipe (crack pipe), new battery, new window regulators, throw out bearing, slave cylinder, master cylinder, spoiler, badge less grill, vacuum lines, all new tires, oil pressure sensors, new roof mount antenna and base, upgraded struts and shocks, new axles, new drivers side wheel bearing.
This also comes with the Bentley manual that actually covers the VR6.
good leather interior
Glove box (in 95 these cars did not have a glove box I found one in the junkyard in great condition and installed it the only problem being that it can’t be locked as its keyed differently.)
AC works and hasn’t needed recharged or any of that crap.
Straight body
My friend does his own powder coating gun so as time goes by we randomly pull parts and make them shiny. So far we have done the shifter weight and the oil filter housing.
Of course regular oil changes. I fill it with premium it’s not required but it’s a habit I have since I had a turbocharged car.
Power options power mirrors, cruise control, heated seats, rear defrost, power windows, power locks.
DARK tinted windows
The car is wired for a sub (it doesn’t have one so the wires are disconnected from the battery and rear I can include a bass tube if you want.)
Cons:
OBD 1 so it’s hard to get it scanned anywhere but a shop unless you have VAGCOM.
The previous owner was keyed on the driver’s door and it has clearcoat peeling and generally could use paint.
2200 OBO. I can be contacted at 941 539 5371 (call or text) as far as trades go I may consider firearms or the right small convertible MGB, BMW m3 for example. Let me know what you have I may consider putting cash on top for the right vehicle or you can put cash on top for a poorer vehicle. Hit me up the worst I could do is say no. I work evenings so I may not answer or call back immediately so please include the times that are best to contact you. Also no I will not get you an insurance quote or ship the vehicle. For a flat out sale I would prefer to not go below 2000 due to the amount of money and work that has gone into this car. It would make a great daily or project( very easy to turbo these cars J)
