j30tt
So, searching the forums and posting someone directed me to here. I cant find much information on swapping my vg30dett into a j30...I have a full flawless running 91 300zx TT and a 93 j30...the 300 has title issues and so I cant register the car...*long aggravating story* but has anyone seen or done one? how hard would it be to do? any tips? or am I just insane.....Ive seen 5speed swaps for the car but never a full TT swap...I have the full 300 parts so harness and pedals and cross members wont be a problem just the unforeseen fab work is the question....any one?

the main problems are going to lie in front of the motor. radiator/ac condenser/intercooler piping
that parts gonna suck. pretty sure the motor fits, no problem... you can modify the wiring harness to fit (i recommend going with a brand new one from nissan though to start with), but fabbing the intercooler portion is going to be rediculous but doable, im sure. |

![]() VG30s hardly fit into Z32s, which are intended to have them in there. Cramming miles of piping into a car that isn't manufactured for it can get complicated. There is no question as to whether we would be able to do it, but rather how awesome you want to be and how much you have to work with. If you're solid on doing this swap, give our man Bobby a call (813-961-0609) and we'll see about getting you in. |
