ok. i was wondering what would happen. it would be awesome if this was a viable option. the only problem with aluminum is the specific heat level is right around 700 degrees. damn, thats a shame. it looks very nice!

The aluminum is 125mm (1/16). When you go to fabricate something like that you need to be sure that the material is for heater (the owner of this car bring me the materials);
This car is for drag only.
About 3 weeks ago the car was at sunshine to test and have no problem!!

I've heard something about the location of the bends in reference to the turbine discharge, and the radius of bends, causing hot spots and making those areas more prone to melting... Basically like the straightest, most free flowing route, spreads the heat more evenly over the material, making it less prone to failure...
Makes sense I guess... Only time will tell how it holds up... Regardless, it still looks great...
