BEST SHOP IN TAMPA. Coolest guys to work with. Great dyno prices. These guys do AWSOME work. I go up there almost everyday to hang out and they dont give a shit. James is a Beast when it comes to Electrical work. Proven Power is the most HONEST and ETHICAL shop around. I will never go to another shop. i am Happy to say i have a Proven Power car, and recommend everyone lookin for a shop to go to my shop..PROVEN motha fuckin POWER. Thanks for all the help and work yall have done for me. Cant wait for yall to Turbo the Teg.

Hey TR,
Proven power is the best shop ever!
I had timing and wiring problems when I got there. They fixed the issues and tuned the B16A3 Del sol with great horsepower gains and prices! Thanks Guys! Done right the first time.

These guys are true rockstars in the automotive industry. I went there today with a replica rmf header to have installed and they were amazing. There were so many problems with clearance and fitment and they took em on one by one until the job was done. The job was a huge nightmare but they made it an enjoyable experience while i watched them work out the kinks. The pricing for the service (with a dyno run before and after install, about 4 hours worth) was amazing and I left a completely satisfied customer. These are going to be my go to guys for all of my tuning, installation, and fabrication needs. It's really hard to find good honest shops out there so I'm really glad I came to these guys. Thanks Darrel, Eric, and James for workin those long hours for me. I'll be seeing you guys soon for the next install.

Some time last year, i brought my 1991 Nissan Skyline GTR in to have it tuned by an outsourced tuner, Martin of Z Fever fame. at the time, Z Fevers Dyno was in the process of being moved to their new shop, and when i was ready to have my GTR Dyno tuned, Martin told me to meet him at proven power.... and i see why...

the guys at PP are awesome, even though we were just using their dyno. my boost controller took a shit, and Darrel i think (the younger cat with dark hair?) helped Martin and i find other solutions. All of the guys at the shop, saw my skyline in it's shoddy condition at the time, and no one said anything derogatory about it, even the cheap wheels i had as rolling stock at the time.

when i first got there, i was a little weirded out about having my car someplace other than Z Fever (only use them for Martin), but after about 15 minutes, the professionalism, friendliness of the employees made me feel right at home. They took the UTMOST care of my car while driving it on the dyno, strapping it down, and getting it prepped for Martin. Not to mention, their pricing was MORE than fair for renting the Dyno. now that the GTR is cosmetically restored, and a new boost controller is installed, I'm going to have to return to Proven Power to at least show the guys at the shop, if not have my dyno tuning finished as i wasn't able to make any more than 12.5lbs of boost that day.

Awesome group of guys! A fun place to go and hang out lol. Great prices. Had fun strapping the goat down for the first time, numbers made me very happy for the minimal money i have into the car. Will be back very soon after some modding.

i have to say i brought my car in here to these guys and the first time i took my car to them was on a trailer and i was kind of feeling like they wanted nothing to do with my (at the time pos) after sitting down and talking with Darrell and James they pretty much told me what i needed to do, Within a month my car was back in there hands droped off with a new motor and tuns of parts to be installed along with a long parts list (look at the thred about the widebody eg h22) after the many problems we ran into and more then one night spent there untill after 1:00 am and james's women calling him asking where he's at i greatly appreciate there work and time spent getting my car back to me rocking and rolling i will always tell people to go here and get there work done they took care of me and my baby thanks again guys keep kicking ass.

well, here i am again, as promised with my follow up review!!!





once again, i returned to Proven Power for my dyno tuning needs... once again, the guys there handled my car with the utmost respect and care, even when we all had a good laugh when i left the AWD on hahaha (NEWB!!!!)... either way, they handled the car, strapped her down, got it all set up, and my tuner did the rest...

i must say, those guys at proven power are top flight, they care for the customers, and they care for the cars they bring in, even last time, when i brought my car in, and it looked like shit, they may have had opinions, but they kept them to themselves...

although i had issues with coil packs, and didn't accomplish the numbers i wanted, i do know one thing, when i get my new coil packs, and i come back for my final tune, i'll be going to proven power for all my dyno needs, and i'll recommend them to any one of my friends, it's well worth the drive!!!

I need to give these guys a huge round of applause. Im new to hondas but not shops as I am a diesel mechanic. These guys are the s#$t. I went there for the first time a few weeks ago and they treated me as if I were an old friend. Answered all my questions with a smile and a good knowledge base. I really can't say enough good about them, they will go outa there way to help anyone, they did with me! I would recomend them to any one who would ask about a shop for tuning or anything else from welding to wire tucks. Keep it up guys!Much love from a new guy!

i would like to give a thanks to proven power also. had my integra tuned there a couple of weeks ago. they did a fantastic job, very professional and a lot of good advise. they made me feel like a friend even though i just met them. will definitely be going back for my tuning and fabrication need.
