Good people...helped me out with tuning my old setup on the safc...stock b20b threw down 150whp and 132wtq...not bad for 8.8:1 compression

I took my stock 2nd gen there back in May. Put the car on the Dyno, made a few pulls and spent the next hour talking to the guys about my build ideas and got tons of expertise and understanding. Of course i left with more questions than i had arrived with, but the dyno sheet (138whp for a beat up/stock FC) and a better understanding of building a turbo system was well worth the time and money of stopping by. I recently stopped by to ask a few more questions and the guys were knee deep in a motor swap, yet they still had a few mins to talk to me. Always very helpful and polite. Always optimistic about results and never derogatory. Everytime someone asks about shops in the bay area, proven power is where i tell em to go. Looking forward to getting back to the dyno, shooting for 175whp b4 the turbo goes in...

i brought my car to proven power after reading all of the great reviews when trying to find someone that could do the work i needed at a reasonable price. i should start by saying that i don't know a lot about working on cars. i wasn't even sure what exactly was wrong with my car. this can be a problem when trying to find a shop that wont rip you off.
i had my car towed to them and when i showed up the guys were there to walk me through what i needed to get taken care and what i needed to expect in the near future. my car basically needed everthing but the engine replaced. these guys were all too willing to answer every stupid question i could think of and explain it well. it was clear to me from the start of our initial conversation that they knew what they were talking about but weren't arrogant about it. the next big question was "how much is their wealth of knowledge gonna cost me?" i'm not gonna say but it was way lower than what i expected. the best word to describe the price is "DEAL"
not only did they let me hang around while they worked but they continued to answer my ridiculous questions while being polite about it. they actually taught me a thing or two and showed me everything on my car that was in need of repair, as oppose to just telling me. i knew the entire time that they were doing the work they were telling me they were doing. this is a problem i have had many times in the past with other places.
i want to thank you guys at proven power!!! you hooked me up on a big way that i could have never expected. my initial intention was to get the car running and get rid of it, but you guys restarted my interest and appreciation for my car and even got me excited about it again. i can't thank you guys enough.
the bottom line is no one else will be working on any of my cars, now or ever. great service, great work, great price, awesome people!! these guys are the real deal!! if you want it done right they are the guys to go with!!
well i think i'm beating a dead horse to go on anymore, but one more time: THANK YOU PROVEN POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i can say i have a proven power first in my car and always will...

I went there for some welding of my muffler and add a o2 bung to my down pipe, and was very satisfied with the end result. Very friendly and willing to have a conversation with you about anything. thanks E & D.
