03 Mach 1 carbureted with crank trigger distributor

It's been a 3 yr project and finally got it on the dyno for the first tune session!

    N/A on Mustang Dyno
424.8 rwhp @ 7100 rpms (7300 rpm run on dyno)
    347.3 rwt @ 5208 rpms

    YouTube - 100_0130.MOV

This was at 27 degree initial timing, Ironically, we made more hp as we lowered timing vs increasing?? No detonation at all up to 34 degrees on Sunoco GT Plus 104 unleaded. This more then likely being the shape of cylinder chambers with the custom domed JE pistons. The lesser timing seems to be where the optimum quench is.

Next dyno session we are installing a Pro Systems highly modified 650 carb that flows 950 cfm..lean the air/fuel slightly, remove the Mac Pro chamber pipe & pro dump hooker mufflers. Install outlaw mufflers straight off the collectors.

The last run of the night, one of the alternator coolant crossover bolt head broke off..?? So we ended the evening.

I want to do a similar set up in a Fox except I'd just be using the MSD stand alone ignition similar to how I am doing the LSx in mine.

Few vids when we first fired up the motor a few months ago! Open headers! Last vid is of the dual stainless steel purge, the bottles were low.

The motor was build for nitrous to handle a 300 shot, but will probably not go higher then 250. The next dyno session we start with a small shot (75) to test the system.
