No clue.
My wife wants to pull the car and pay a professional shop to finish it.
Of course that means suing Bryan for breach of contract, time and aggravation etc etc.
I am doing my best to keep my wife calm. But she is a feisty woman. I am not home and on the road 2 - 3 weeks at a time. I am almost ready to buy another truck and hire my first driver. So once my wife reaches the point of no return, there will be little I can do to stop her from going after him. I think the only thing saving him right now is that she doesnt know where his shop is.
Its been almost a year since since Bryan has had the car. Paid him almost $3000 cash in advance, he has made promise after promise, and still my pleas for info and communication fall on deaf ears. The whole situation is a point of stress and contention here at home. It shouldnt be this way. I dont like being left in the dark. Personally I think its a shame how things have become. I have seen his work. It looked great to me. But getting him to follow through and complete what he started seems to be a major problem for him. I sent him a text a few mins ago. Its up to him as to how this turns out. I hate to have this go really bad,.. but enough is enough.

Not much Jeff.
Spoke with Bryan a couple weeks ago. He is projecting a late Jan completion date. So I am hoping to have my car back by Feb if yin and yang, karma and the stars align properly.
If so I am hoping to have the car together and running by April/May some time. Busy as all hell with work so I wont be able to put it back together as quickly as I like. Took this week off to spend the holidays with my family. But back to hustling on the 26th. So will only have 1 day a week to work on my car once I get it back and I have a sh*t ton of work still to do to it.
Going to completely change out the suspension. Doing a 3 link rear with the MM kit. All new interior panels, carpet, headliner etc. Scored some like new black leather 98 Cobra seats. There will be no rear seat. Front suspension will consist of AJE k-member and lower control arms with SN95 ball joints. Keeping the UPR coil over kit but replacing the Lakewood drag shocks and struts with either Tokico or Bilstein adjustibles and replacing the springs with stiffer springs. Not sure what spring rate to go with yet. I need to get in touch with someone that knows coil over suspensions and will know the proper spring rates for the front and rear due to the car not being as heavy as stock. Projecting a 2900-ish lb curb weight when done.
The LQ9 is ready to go except for the oil pan and still undecided on AC mount location. I may end up swapping to an Fbody accessory drive set up. TKO is ready to go with new flywheel and Ram clutch kit. I bought Moser 31 spline axles and a Detroit Tru-Track carrier for the rear. I will probably get Shaun at All American to put that in for me and swap from the 4.10 to a more street friendly 3.73 gear ratio. And still debating to move to a 3.55 or not. I think the 6.0 will have more than enough torq to still accelerate ahead of the curve even with the 3.55. Concerned that since I like drag racing that I may run out of RPM's even with the 3.73. Yes it should be that quick with what I have planned even though the cars primary purpose will be as a daily driver/weekend road course carver. This is my first attempt to build a car set up for the twisties.
Should be an even match motor to motor with your car and the 5.0. Unless you do a power adder I dont think you will be able to keep up with the progressive 200 shot I will be hitting this motor with when at the track. Should see around 650 ft/lb torq when on the spray. Hopefully the bottom end stays together,.. (Still stock).

if you use the fbody a/c brackets, the sway bar will not fit. I would love to put mine back on but need a/c, I know... panzy

You can make a spacer for the sway bar. 2 or 3 inch bar stock should work. Its the same with the AC in the lower right using the truck brackets. Either way you have to make a modification.

well thats what I read also but I have not seen one completed yet in any forum. lot of you cans but nobody completed one yet. Since a/c is completed and running I have put my car on a lift and a 3" bar might be too low for the sway bar on ground clearance. but hey I'll keep reading.

I'll let you know how mine turns out. As I WILL have AC and I WILL have a front sway bar. Just havent gotten that far yet to give you an honest assessment of what it really takes to make it work.
About a year ago I read a post on LS1Tech where a guy used a spacer only on the passenger side to get the clearance he needed. Unable to find it at the moment. He posted pics and it looked like a plausible route to follow.

Yes,.. it has. (Sigh)
No word from Bryan. I am out on the road right now. I will text him and see what he has to say.
This is what I have been dealing with for the last year.
My hands are tied,.. I paid cash in full up front. I am at his mercy to if/when it gets completed. My wife wants me to pull it and take it to another shop.
If/when anything changes I will post updates.

BTW Hursty I think the truck arm suspension will work well on your wife's mustang, I would probably do that as well for a track car but the autocorss courses are very tight and almost all 1-3rd gear, tops. That's the major reason I went with an IRS instead of a truck arm. The TA is going to be much lighter as well, not much more than the crappy stock set up. The IRS weighs (I'm guessing here, but I've lifted a few) maybe 75- 100 pounds heavier than the stock set up.

Still not finished. He never calls or contacts me.
I gave him till 1st week in June. I have another shop (A real shop this time) lined up to finish my car if he doesnt finish it by then.
My wife's lawyer will then proceed to procure a judgement to collect any tax returns in order to get our money back.
He has time to roam the streets and party it up, but cant finish my car. I have things set in motion to prove that he was/is perfectly capable of finishing my car if it ever goes to court. I have witnesses and video of him taken by several people who know my situation. Not to mention endless promises in emails and text messages from him personally. karma always circles back around.

04-02-2012 11:26 AM #89It's a fox, right? Then yes you'll need some substantial flares to use the IRS, (see my buildup)Just not too thrilled with the width of the IRS back there.

Yeah, 93 GT. And I have no intention of ever cutting or flaring any of the fenders or 1/4 panels. I'll do mini-tubs and narrow the rear before I'd ever alter the body like that.
This is more of a fun car. A weekend toy that can be daily driven. Will have heat and working AC. Will be a 'heavy' car by road course standards. My goal is to balance out the car. Cutting down on whats not needed while still retaining 'most' creature comforts.
I keep hoping to see someone make some fox specific spindles or a-arms to narrow down the IRS for a Fox specific application.
