800+WHP Civic in the making
So i finally realized how bored I got with 400whp and driving something that someone else has built plain and simple its just not me........ Alot of you know this car its been around but what some of you don't know is that this car has always been fast and has always had an h22 for more then 8 years now. Recently I almost put the swap in one of my other shells but i figure since this motor has always been here why change it. So here we go my goal is 800whp and I pretty much have everything to make it with the exception of a few minor things. This what I have now.
97 closed decked h22
Golden eagle sleeves
eagle rods
88mm cp pistons
balance shaft eliminator kit
balance and blueprinted
skunk2 stage 2 turbo cams
FULL BC valves and valvetrain
port polished head
skunk2 intake manifold
750cc injectors
log manifold
tial 38mm wastegate
greddy bov
holset turbo
3" proven power built downpipe and dumptube
and few other things here in there.
here is a pic of the car when I got it, it was making 248whp and 268lbs of torque the car was not popping vtec and the turbo was blown it was only boosting 8psi's. 248 is extremely low especially when the car was making 207whp n/a when it was completely stock. So i decided to up the boost and retuned, here's what happened.

Since then alot has change the turbo finally when out and so did most of the bottom end the car is really low on compression on cylinder 3 it has only 135psi's and the rest have a perfect 210 and I installed a breather kit and you can see that it has an ass load of blow by so a rebuild is a must if I want 800whp.

So it's been a while but I got some work done In the last few months after ripping apart the block and some careful measuring it looks like the rings where never filed and set to the correct specs
