20 psi at idle when the car is warm is perfectly fine. Oil pressure will always be higher at idle on a cold engine because the oil is thicker when cold. As long as the pressure goes up with rpms you should are dine. You should be putting out around 60-80 psi by 2000 rpms and above.

My car idles around 20-25 psi when warm

if you're not reading normal oil pressure during the higher RPM range
you should do a cylinder compression check... might need new rings

It has nothing to do with rings or ring wear.
Low on oil
Clogged oil pump pickup
Worn oil pump
Bad oil pressure sensor (oem unit on block just to the left of oil filter)
Bad oil pressure gauge, sticky needle (if not an electronic unit, could be oil feed tube leaking, or kinked)

ya i kinda had same problem everyonce in a while the oil light would start blinking....it was doing it every 20 miles....i changed the oil and it came on couple time but it stpped and the car runs fine so i figured that the screen in the pick up tube was cloged and new oil fixed the problem.
