Sell it and buy a corvette, jk.....
An accord isn't really the right car to start with if you want to have a quick honda. But you need to ask yourself, how much money do I want to dump into an accord and how fast do I really want to be.

If you want cheap hp to use once in a while, go with nitrous, plus you can huff it if you get bored, jk again.

If you want to spend thousands then go turbo, be fast all the time and be reliable.

Or buy a 90 crx and build it for nitrous and do a 300 shot and be super fast, and drive the accord to work.
Just some things to thing about before you start blowing $$$$$$$$$

:serious:

now 97 accord, im assuming that its automatic this is always going to slow you down. but hey i drive a 1.5 lt engine so ya, but a good way to get it up and going is to get some sticky rubber, plu it will handle and look better. what do you mean by nice exhaust? axel back, muffler, cat back?

actually it dose not take thosands of dollars to go turbo. second nitrious is pointless since its not always there for you.
Also if yuor car is automatic just stop now. take the exhuast off cause your car probably sounds like crap no matter what you think. Now if the accord is 5 speed then you have something to play with. your ex has the ex motor which is one of hondas most powerfull sohc's. it has like 150hp and 145tq.this motor can share a large amount of its parts with the h series of hondas.includeing the head.
If you decide to go turbo be careful becuase like the h series your motor dose have week sleeves.
Now ask yourself what kind of money you want to spend then go from there. also what your goals are for the car.
Once you figure that out and provide us with details. let us know..

To make your car appear faster, make it stick to the road.

When I outbrake the motorcycles, pass the 'Vettes
on the outside and accelerate out of the turn........
they think I'm fast! :)

When I can help with your suspension, and for low dollars, contact me.-Bob
