ya if u have dif. Vin numbers its probaly a stolo

Maybe he did a dash swap from another car?
People do that on del sols alot to get rid of the pasenger airbag wich result in the vins not being the same.

Just drill the rivits out on the dash then take off the old vin plate then pop in the new vin and some new rivits.

i got the titleit...title matches the firewall and door jam. just the dash different

get ur old dash back

btw, if you get caught with mismatched VIN's, it's a felony. Had a freind arrested for this. Long story, but the car wasn't stolen. Not a good thing.

the dash swap is common with 240s too...
since you basically fail at posting a good thread, we don't know what car you are talking about so we can't really help you with specifics...
all we can tell you is to get the VIN plate changed because, as charles pointed out, it is a felony for the numbers not to match...

cause if you look at spooncivics car he does not have a vin number on his dash he has a nascar dash.
