Presidential Detailed: BMW K1200 RT
This bike belongs to a friend of mine, he regularly makes trips out west just to enjoy the mountain scenery and twisties! This time around, he just clocked in over 7000 miles in 1 round trip! Needless to say, as you can imagine there was quite a bit of bugs, road grime, brake dust, etc. The bike needed a good cleaning, but since it was silver and half of the bike was actually a "matte" sort of finish, machine polishing was not necessary. I simply wash, clayed, and sealed the entire bike with Blackfire Wet Diamond Paint Sealant.
Products:
ONR 2-Bucket Wash
P21s Wheel Gel
Meguairs APC+
Adams Metal Polish #2
Rain-X
Meguairs Professional Clay Bar
Blackfire Wet Diamond Paint Sealant
Cobra Guzzler Waffle-Weave MF Drying Towel
Cobra Blue Micro-Chenille Wash Mitts
Before with 7,000 miles of bugs..

The wheels also got a heavy dosing of P21S Wheel Gel to remove the stubborn brake dust and tar from the long trip.

After wash, clay bar decontamination, sealant.

The windscreen was also treated with Rain-X.

Exhaust after polishing.

I removed all the saddlebags to thoroughly clean them as well as the part of the bike that is beneath them.
