Presidential Detailed: 2006 Honda S2000 aka Black Nightmare!
This car had to be one of my worst enemies! I could not get a hologram free finish on the soft Honda Black paint for anything! I eventually gave up, let the owner take the car home and ordered some new "better" products to try and tackle it again. I started this car the middle of last month and had to wait on my new products to come in from the UK, so I just now finished the car today! I must say it was worth the wait and the money for the new products by 3M!! Enjoy!

This particular s2000 was outfitted with some wonderful pin striping and also some rubber door edge guards!

Needless to say, they had to go!

Luckily these peeled right off as they were fresh..

The pinstriping was another story..which inspired me to invest in a nice little rubber eraser tool just for this purpose!

I just thought that I would point something out to you, your light that your using, your using it the wrong way. That light doesn't bring out "swirls or scratches" AKA defects in paint. That light isn't sunlight source, If you like I'll find the write up that was on the internet about using flood lights for the use of finding swirls.
This my friend is the only thing other then natural direct sunlight that'll bring the imperfections out.
Swirl Spotting Light Souces Test - Autopia.org
Hence the same flood light behind him, their is a reason why the shotguns or also known as Dual Xenon are the price that they are, if anyone could use a 30$ flood light don't you think they would... Lol
I don't want to rain on your party but I noticed your using the flood lights as a source to find swirls and that isn't the case. It'll never show swirls, its only something decent to use if your not in proper light.

I use multiple sources of lighting to find swirls, the halogen being one of the better ways, yes not as good as the actual sun HENCE full sun reflection shots along WITH the halogens. A sungun is a nice tool, not completely necessary but I do plan to get one soon..either way you need a good eye to find them in certain lighting besides the sun..

I know you can find the swirls with what you have but you can't see them in pictures I know that for a fact. I did a BMW and the trunk was filled with minor scratches and swirls. Pictures spoke a 1,000 words but eye it up and turn your head side to side you'll see them.

I just called and left a message to set up an appointment. My accord has the same exact paint job, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what you can do to save mine. Thanks!

Yeah i can't wait either. April is sooooo far away
I almost cry everytime i see her right now. She used to be so perfect but sad to say, not so much anymore. This florida sun is so much harsher than the Ohio sun... well maybe that's because its cloudy 80% of the year there... Windows are getting tinted to 5% tomorrow... hopefully i can get my new wheels before i get her to ya... we'll see....
