Default help with intake

ok, don't flag me for this Q... i'm NOT a honda man.
my mom's '01 Civic DX needs an intake BAAAD. i was browsing and came across 2 different part numbers for an air intake for a manual and auto.
what are the differences?
i see intakes for the manual go for like $50 on egay, but none for the auto. only ones i saw were good-brand ones... i just don't know if they are different or not.
thanks for the info!!!

throtle response is horrible. it improved a lil bit after putting a K&N airfilter replacement, but it's still very sloggish. also, improved fuel economy and more power? lol.. just the basic NEEDS. lol
