Anyone recently get pulled over?

I was driving my 90' Accord at that time, but now I'm driving a 83 Chevy C-10

No, not here. Again, very rarely do cops here do traffic stops for tint and shit like that. Not like in Florida where there's a sheriff on every corner waiting for something to do.

But on a rare occasion they're still doing traffic stops for tint and shit right?

Rode around open header on my GSR hatch for over a month with no problems... had to make a couple manuevers ie. (Sitting at a red light about to turn right but noticing a cop about to go so I wait etc.) Just the luck of the draw everytime you step in your car I guess.

A story that (name deleted) won't tell you....

Ed and me had spent the night with a couple chicks out on the sand in Clearwater Beach............shot gunning Monster Energy Drinks with Vodka chasers. He had picked up the babes over in Countryside Mall.......

I told him, Man these chicks don't have any tits!, but Ed said that any female who could wear patent leather heels with her cutoffs was old enough to date guys who drive Hondas....that it was a Florida Law......and since Ed had said that he was going to law school, I didn't argue.

We had started out with four chicks, but businessman that he is, Ed had traded two of the chicks for a car.....got it that night from a couple guys from New York who were down here,..........either for a golf tournament or a porno convention....I don't remember which........

So we were driving down Gulf to Bay taking the chicks to CCC when we got stopped by a female Clearwater PD. How the heck were we supposed to know it was a stolen car? When the female CPD saw that ed's license was suspended again, she said "Boy, you're coming with me!" and she put him in the back of the police car..............for about 30 minutes.

I was having a good time with the chicks in the back seat of the stolen car when Ed comes back to the car spitting...........He said "it's OK, she's letting us go." I figured slick-talking Ed had done some road-side plea bargaining......

He explained that he knew the 40 year old female cop and that they used to smoke together before she got on the force. Ed said that you can't get on with CPD if you had two felony convictions, and since she only had one felony, that's how she got hired under the Equal Opportunity law.

I don't remember the rest of that night, but eventually I got to the m**t.......but that photo of me certainly tells me why the energy drink is called "Monster"...... -Bob

I got pulled over twice yesterday for tint, never been pulled over for that before, ever. I know a few others who also got pulled over for tint, exhaust, things like that. Feels like they are really cracking down this month.

Little update on the situation.

Took it to court today, Judge was nice enough to drop all charges and I was in and out super quick.

I understand.. And, even though I've had my fare share of stops & tickets and some I didn't agree with, but that's life... I still have to side with the Law Enforcment..

I have considered a Police career.. Instead, I went to Fire Academy..
And, wouldn't you know it.. Bad economy forced Fired Dept, Hiring Freezes..
But, it didn't force Police Hiring Freezes..
I guess I choose poorly..

Gotta say though..
If I had become an officer, then I would love to stop people for just being Dumb & Driving.. I see stupid stuff everyday that really irks me.. I try not to make myself a target when I drive, and drive SMART..

If your getting stopped, then think really hard.. There is something that caused them to stop you.. They noticed you out of all the other drivers around you.. Might be they stopped you because your one of those STUPID drivers.

Ohh believe me they did, its just that larger departments around the region are replacing retirees. They arent really adding additional guys they are just riding on almost minimum.

Either that or the police are profiling, which they tend to do pretty frequently.

Not sure if you're trying to call me stupid there morty. But based on what the cop said on why he chose to pull me over, dark tint was one of the things they were cracking down on at the time. And it's pretty much easy revenue because most ppl pay them.
