Ands thats a 100% improvement from last year... if my math is right lol I dont think theyre a wildcard team.. .but because of that spotty defense, because of williams, and because the new QB and coach have never been scouted i think they have a shot to do some things. Shit theyre better than the seahawks.. and they made it to the second round of the playoffs.
The vey top of the division. Is on another level. Green Bay, Philly, NO, and Atlanta. But the rest of the NFC is pretty closely matched. Some teams, like the Lions have more weapons than others.. but no one has really proven themselves. And the four NFC south teams always play each other tough anyway. The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

so its more of a management and coaching issue? like a monkey picking the biggest fruits without thinking if they'll go together well? kind of like buying two big players and hoping you get a ring out of it, not really thinking if they'll work together? *cough heat... trollface.jpeg

i really am not the biggest fan of the NFL, there just really isnt any loyalty like you find in college football. unfortunately i have been leaning towards arizona, but the main reason they made it to the superbowl that year was because of fitzgerald. and teams have been compensating for that. not so much of a secret weapon now, huh?

not a big fan of the ncaa.. its nice to watch kids kill themselves every game instead of playing for money.. but the talent is so unfailry distributed most games are unfair and dont make any sense to watch. The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

Yeah, if you want to look at it like that, its a 100% improvement over the amount of wins they had last year. BUT, its not going to suprise anyone. Everyone in American knows they are gonna lose, so if they do only win 4 games, then everyone will write it off as one of those "I figured that" type of things.
They've got at least 3-4 years before they are even close to competing. I mean they fell off of the map pretty quick, going from a threat in the NFC South, to basically being the "gimme" games for teams in that division. At this juncture, im not gonna agree or disagree with you about them being better than the Seahawks, because at the moment, the Seahawks dont have anyone worth a damn at QB. But, in Seattles defense, the team they have this year is not the team that made the playoffs and beat the Saints last year.

Any team that doubles their win total does alright lol And yea they fell off the map. They lost Peppers.. but theyre defense isnt THAT far off. But they still got williams.. and their QB (delhomme) wasnt that good anyway. I dont think theyre 4 years off what they were personnel wise its more about the kind of competition there is in the league. If the panthers played in the nfc west we would be talking about them making the playoffs.

Yeah, but according to all of you guys last year, the Bucs won 10 games last year, and increased their win total by over 300%, but yet in you guy's eyes, they still sucked and hadn't proved anything. Sounds a bit contradictive. Dont ya think?
Their defense cant compete when they are always on the field and winded. Their offense has got to produce, otherwise, the defense is ate up and worn out before halftime. The Panthers used to be good. Delhomme wasn't a perennial QB, but he was a good fit for the team and got shit done with the weapons he had.
Even if the Panthers were in the NFC West, they still would suck, and talking about them being in the playoffs would still be a stretch, because they would have to win the division to get in, because every other division would be too tough for them to get in on a wild card. They might win 5-6 games at best out there. You've got to think, the West has got Arizona, which seems to have found someone reliable with Kevin Kolb at QB, and obviously Larry Fitzgerald. You've got St. Louis, which is emerging as a good team behind Sam Bradford and Steven Jackson. And then you've got San Francisco and Seattle. San Francisco has so many issues on that team I dont know where to start. They are probably right there with Carolina for the NFC's worst team. Seattle on the other hand has a good team and good foundation, they just need a QB. They have all the same team from last year, minus Hassleback but added Sidney Rice. If Rice stays healthy, and Cincy gets off their horse and trades Carson Palmer like everyone is speculating, then he will go to Seattle, and Seattle will be a decent team.
But even then Carolina cant compete in any division right now. Not even for a wild card spot.

Carolina will suck lol. I never once said theyd be good.. i dont even think ive said they will be decent. Simply that they will SURPRISE. IIRC the Bucs, Falcons, & Panthers were only a position or two off each other in total defense. That means the panthers arent too far off, and i believe adding newton to a solid running game will be enough to throw them into the discussion in that mediocre field in the NFC. And we definitely disagree about the 'Hawks. IMO they are hands down the WORST team in the NFL. They have the absolute worst QB and no matter the talent they have around it. Jackson is bound to throw that shit away. Kolb, Newton, Bradford, Stafford, even Newton AND Alex Smith are better qbs than Jackson. Hes a slot receiver at best. Definitely not a starting QB.

Alex Smith is garbage. To even put him in the same bracket as the other QBs is an insult to them.
I wont argue with you though about Jackson. He is not a QB. Chances are that until the Bengals get off of Carson Palmer, then Charlie Whitehurst will have the starting job.

I think you guys forgot that the Browns fixed up their management department. With Mike Holgram at the helm I am almost certain he will change the Browns around. They may not be Superbowl contenders or Playoff contenders, but they will be improving.

I'm still waiting for you to claim a team you root for instead of just spewing out blabber and whatnot about every team.I'm attending 2 Bucs games this year maybe more.If the Bucs avoid injuries i dont see why they can't compete compared to last year. They face a majority of teams that are pass happy and with any slight improvement up front the secondary will be top five like in the past.Heres my week 1 picks:
Gb over NO
Chicago over Atl
Buffalo over Kc
Cleveland over Cincinatti
Tb over Detroit
Titans over Jags
Texans over Indy
Eagles over Rams
Ravens over Steelers
Sd over Minnesota
NYG over Redskins
Az over Panthers
49ers over Seattle
Dallas over NYJ
Ne over Miami
Denver over Oakland
