sanding, and more sanding, and even more sanding with sand paper thats as fine as regular ass paper, and then some more sanding. And then some polishing with mothers, and more polishing... lmao for real some things take a fucking ridiculous amountof time. Depends on how much you want it polished. Ive hit aluminum with steel wool and had a nice shine but not mirrored like my brake lines.

400, 600, 1000 wet, 1500 wet, 2000 wet, Then polish with Wenol, comes out like chromeeee

yep, a lot of the time its worth just paying someone that does that as a trade to do it.

It's not as hard as they are making it out to be. Get a palm bander if its a big enough piece and sand away.. then hit it with a polishing pad and fine polishing compound.

I use a rotary tool for detail polishing on small parts, super clean results quickly. If you have the right tools, polishing isn't a big deal.

this guy at work just did the lip on his wheels....he just hit it with a steel pad on a drill and then used some mothers to shine it up...shit came out good!
