Please keep Kyle (civicSi07) & Brian (Red06WRX) in your prayers
Update: Another friend of mine, and the local group of tuners and bradenton, as well as a good friend of Kyles was involved in another serious accident last night. Here is some more information.

Last night (11/13) a fellow member on TR, friend, and family member to some on here was involved in a pretty serious accident on 63rd ave in Bradenton. He was taken by Bayflight to Bayfront but I am not sure of his current condition. Im not sure who here knows Kyle on a personal level, but he is a great kid, and probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet, so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Sorry to be vague, but I still don't know all of the facts yet and dont want to give out false information.Last edited by JonLGT; 11-26-2008 at 04:23 PM.

Thank you for posting something, I wasn't sure if it would be kosher or not, so I didn't want to. I'm hoping the latest update we got will help. Just like Jon said, he's a great guy, and I'm hoping everything will be ok.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then youll go faster period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster. the late Tom Thrash SCCA Solo E Production

A two-vehicle crash in Bradenton critically injured a teenager Thursday night, authorities said.
The wreck occurred at 8:30 p.m. on Bayshore Gardens Parkway at 63rd Avenue East, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said a 1988 Honda driven by Kyle Alexander, 19, 4011 37th St. W., was eastbound in the right lane at a high rate of speed, lost control and spun into a westbound 1989 Ford pickup driven by Mark Frame, 43, of 4012 62nd St. W.
Alexander, who was not wearing a seat belt, was critically injured in the wreck and was taken to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg. Frame suffered minor injuries and was treated at Blake Hospital, troopers said.
Damage to the two vehicles totaled about $20,000, troopers said. No charges were immediately filed.

I just hope it wasnt street racing. Seems like everyone that gets hurt or passes away on this site are involved in street racing. I have never seen so many cases of this before on a forum. In colorado you never hear about this going on. Is it in the air to speed in FL?

Not wearing a seatbelt? Ugh...how hard is it to buckle up? I hope he recovers and doesn't make the same mistake twice.

I've never seen him drive stupid, that's what bothers me about the whole thing...I dunno. I'm sure it will be turned into a racing issue, just like all the others because of the car involved.
