my aldi report:
upon walking up to the store, we noticed it looked very small, but it looks nice so we continue. we walk up to the shopping carts, they have these locking mechanisms on them that require you to insert a quarter to use the carts. so we were like screw that, i dont even have a quarter! so we went inside to discover that it just looks like a giant mini mart. we walked down the isles to check them out hoping to find some great deals on some good products. well, they were great deals but on off brand ghetto products. after seeing this, we left and went to publix.

I saw that place on Fox 13 one morning. They did a taste test on their cereal vs the name brand... theirs was supposed to taste better actually. But the quarter thingy would be pretty damn inconvenient if you didn't happen to have one.

i dunno, maybe the stuff was good but we didn't recognize any of the brands and it wasnt very big so theres not a lot there, defiantly not enough to have a full grocery shopping experience. we'd actually have a fuller grocery shopping experience at a fresh market even though it'd be 3x more expensive. and yeeah....we were like wtf w/the cart thing! lol

in summary aldi= large mini mart.

and no problem, they may have some offbrand goodies there or something that you cant find elsewhere so it may be a good place to check out for that sort of thing. it was kind of crowded so we didn't go out of our way to look for anything like that though.
