I dont think there is anything wrong with it.. I really dont see it as a racial thing, but if you want to take that arguement. Get rid of the black entertainment channel, all of the african american scholorships, the black history month and all other things that segregate the races.

this flag is our flag of the south and it has nothing to do with hate or slavery!
it's part of our heritage! it belongs here and people that try to take it away need to take their dumb asses back up north where they belong! lol
now if we take our flag up north and try to fly it, that's a whole diff ball game.

It's apart of american history, hell in this war happy nation we live in im sure someone had to have known we would go to war with ourselves at one point lol. im a history buff and i say fly it, but if hardcore racist rednecks vs african americans start happening, i say send their ass's to georgia and let this state stay at peace lol

lol i hear ya man, i was born in michigan but lived here all but 2 years of my life. a few generations back all my family came from germany and lived up north but found that the south is much better!

^well when your putting up a flag pole that tall you have to make sure it is put in right and that it isnt too close to the interstate for safety reasons..... you wouldnt wanna be driving down I-4 and have some huge ass flag pole fall in front or on top of you because they didnt make them get permits and make sure that thing was put in right would you?

Ok, Someone please help me don't know how to put up a link to something else. FLAGS OF THE CONFEDERACY.COM. Most people only know of the confederate battle flag ,the original seccesion flag probably would really mess up some one . there are so many flags that you could put up and they would just say that is a nice flag what is it for. DAH. No one wants to read about history they just want someone to tell them ,then they get a slanted view on it . (Don't get me wrong I am not for slavery or oppression at the least look at the American Indian.) . Please before you form a openion on anything be informed first. Let the flag fly it's history ! Bad or good it is still HISTORY.

I agree that people should be able to fly any flag they want on their own property. I also don't think their is anything wrong with being pround that you are from the south. I have lived a good portion of my life in the south(VA,NC,FL). I think southern people are among the greatest. But, I think the flag means many different things to different groups of people. To the minorities it is a symbol of hate representing a time of oppression and violence against their race. To others it is a symbol for their all white american agenda. To the normal and good people of the south, it is just a symbol of their history. perhaps if the white power clowns didnt use it so much, maybe it could be accepted as a southern heritage symbol. I do miss the south.

I see it as a symbol of white pride, which isnt a bad thing. Everyone should feel proud to be something. Just dont be a hipocrit when you see someone else showing as much enthusiasm about what their proud of. Everyone hates a hipocrit.
