^^ true! I used to show a lot when I lived in Ga. years ago and would even drive to Fla. to show. The entry was $20 or so.

and yes, the later it gets, the more ricers come out. Didn't you watch Fast and Furious. All of the "Mad tyte Jdm driftor, street warrior cars came out at night. Ricers think that every meet is actually an underground street race, That is why they race around like something stupid, they think if they show off, they'll get the invite. Last time I was at a good meet and kids started to fuck around, I gave them the invite and played it all up. (I had my suit in my car, so a quick change and you're instant boss status lol) I had them follow me to the "secret spot" About 10 minutes later, I ducked into a neighborhood, and since none of them can drive, I ditched them without breaking a sweat. After I got back, we didn't have any more problems with dumb ricer kids. So as funny as it sounds, thats what these kids are really trying to do. So next time, do what I did. 10 bucks says it will work.

I liked it a lot, it was a great meet and a good chance to talk to some people that I havent seen in a long time. With a meet this size it is almost expected to get ricers, fights, and all the other things that ruin meets, you just have to ignore them. It got to the point where I felt uncomfortable leaving my car on the other side of the parking lot (the bradenton crew got there late) and that is around the time I packed my stuff and rolled out.

Maybe someone should see if this can be looked over by the police, to keep the racing, burnouts and other ricerisms to a minimum? I think it is a pretty good idea, as long as the cops dont hassle anybody.

a cop was hired but he never came.
there was cops sitting in the parking lot when orlando arrived (6 or so) and then about an hour later they left. then i didnt see another cop all night.

The only problem with a daytime meet, is that this is Florida, and we are heading straight for summer. EW. The mugginess factor will be horrible in July. Maybe even if it started a little earlier, like 4-5 oclock, then there is a couple of extra hours of daylight? Unfortunately, ricers aren't vampires... just because it's daylight doesn't mean they will stay away! LMAO!!!

+1 I was wondering if it was due to the difference in location perhaps...park versus parking lot. I dont know. Regardless, they can't be avoided. Just makes me mad...why some people don't know how to act in public.

i really liked the park over the parking lot deal.

the parking lot made me feel like im just going to another meet thats hosted every week. the park just had a better feel to it.

the last meet that was in july or w/e was fine a bit hot but free drinks ftmfw!

Everyone I talked to preferred the 1st pavilian we had, what was it...back in July? The setting was very nice, plenty of shade, a LOT better for picture purposes. The night meet was a nice change of scenery though.

The Largest turn out so far. I liked the change in scenery but I rather stick to daytime meets. The atmosphere is nicer at night but too much bullshit started to happen and I as well did not feel like my car was safe in the parking lot. I think there would be a larger pic thread if it were in the daytime vs. night. Many of our camera's dont take good quality night time pics.
