touch your case with 1 hand, than touch something else that is metal such as a light fixture or a screw thats screwing in your light switch, if your on carpet move to tile

amd's where the way to go until intel came out with the core 2 chip. if your going to build a new system get a intel. get a 8800 gt 512 meg card for around 150 bucks.
as far as AMD frying alot. i've never seen one fry. been building systems with them, for me and my friends for 8 years. but the last system i build was a intel system. they wanted amd but i told them to get a intel core2 quad.
only reason that chip is fried is because the paste shorted it out. you see all the paste all over the legs of the small chips. also the paste connecting the other small chips together.

Ok so here is what im looking at. the blue "Jumper" on the top is going to be moved over to the left (on the left 2 pins) for a duration of say...? 10 seconds? the taking it BACK OFF and replacing it on the right 2 pins. end of reset? correct?

Touch your case for a few seconds, hold the case while you touch the instead. Those both should work fine.

Once you switch the jumpers, fire it up as you would normally.
