^On New Egg isnt' a bare bones system a case, mobo+cpu? That may be a good route.

Either way, new egg is the only place I would buy any computer parts. They are the best i've seen as far as selection, price, and customer service.

Ok i looked at the mobo/case combo deals and they really didnt have what i was looking for.. but i did find these 2 items.. LMK what u guys think?

Good brands. I wouldn't have any complains w/ that system. It may be best to suit you to purchase a PCI Express video card though w/ that setup. You also need the DDR2 type memory also. I'd get 2x512mb or 2x1GB if not more. Micro ATX form, so it should fit in your older case I think.

^ yes im going to get 2x 1gb sticks of ram and yea i havnt looked into new video cards yet.. ill do that now and post some of the ones i like.

^^ how do i do that? because if it requires a display then how the FUCK am i supposed to go about doing that?
is it the battery on the mobo? what do i need to take it out? give me info on the CORRECT! way to do it and i will try it.

Glad you found out the problem, even though it's not what you wanted to hear.
Next time you mess with your PC make you sure have an anti-static wristband on. Also, make sure the mobo has no power by, pressing the power button w/ the cord disconnected.
Edit: nVidia > ATI all fucking day. Pretty much the same as, Intel > AMD.
There's no discussion, no if and's of buts.
