This article from wired caught my attention.

The Pedal-to-the-Metal, Totally Illegal, Cross-Country Sprint for Glory

It outlines how the guy behind Team Polizei set off to beat the cross country speed record. Anyone who hasnt already read it should do so it's really interesting, especial all the things he did to his BWM M5.
