Need help identifying
So to keep this on topic of photography and graphics let me explain how the shot was taken. I mounted my tripod column horizontal and set up using a forward facing lens on a single extension tube on macro rails. I lit the photo using a flash shot into an empty milk jug.
Now, on to the photo.
I came across this at a thrift store. The owner had no idea what it was and I didn't either but I found it highly interesting and had to have it. There seems to be enough detail to make me believe it is something more than just a random novelty thing. It is pretty big in size (bigger than a half dollar)
I am extremely interested to find out what it goes to or where it is from so if anyone happens to know, or can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.
-Here is what I can tell you-
*It is made of some sort of metal
*It weights about 17.8g - 17.9g
*It had a shiny gold finish.
*It is exactly 1 1/2" in width from end to end.

Any information would be helpful, Thanks!
Sharing large to show detail.

Have you looked at any coin collecting forums yet?

@Jake This technically isn't a coin but other than coin or token I don't know what else to call it.
There is nothing on the other side it is just flat.
A friend of mine was telling me it looks like a sort of variation of the 7 seals of Solomon and possibly related to hermetic magick practices. From my research based on his ideas it does seem to be related to things along that line. I am enjoying looking more into this piece.
