FaceBook Photo Question?
So Lets say you got to a "WELL KNOWN" rims/wheel company website and click on their "Follow us on Facebook Link", only to low and behold.. Your picture that you took of someone else's car is posted by them on their wall?! Is this allowed?! Can you just grab someone's picture from cyberspace and post it on your business facebook wall?
Don't get me wrong, I'm completely honored.
I just would have liked to have been notified or at least tagged as the photographer? Am I wrong?

I thought thats why you guys tagged your pictures?
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

^I guess that would be the purpose of why we put our names on it. However, When your posting it on a business page, which is a form of advertisement/marketing, I think it's nice that they at least let you know that "Hey, were using your picture for our benefit, thanks" would be nice.

It's your photo they can't use without your permission. I had the Fly Bar do the same thing to me took it from my Flickr. They gave me $500 gc lol.

That one is a toss-up, imo they're not really using it to advertise since they only posted it on their facebook wall, but when it comes down to it it is your property and they never asked to use it so if you have an issue tell them to remove it or give you credit in the form of a link to your website. If they had used your image on their main website then you would raise hell until they paid up haha
Can we see the image in question?

LoL Thanks guys! I just wanted to make sure I wasn't totally off on this. I know it's a little iffy with the whole Facebook wall thing, But somehow it still doesn't seem... Right? The part that bothered me most, was that people were sharing it off of this wall, so when you went to it on their walls, it said Photo by: (Company whom posted it). I saw on Flickr rules, that you have to link FLickR and give credit to the artist whom it belongs to when using their pictures. I even saw on one of the pictures that they have posted has a Copyright symbol and a year and a last name and they posted it anyway. I'm pretty sure they definitely had to have permission for that one?
Jake, they used this picture.. (Which you will quickly understand whom it is) lol
Oh, and this was nowhere near my favorite of the wheels!
