Hey, we've all gotten in a little over our heads on projects before, and ended up blowing more than we thought we would. But how do you spend close to a million dollars dressing up a 13-year-old motorcoach to look... well, a little better than it did when it was new? Where did the money go? Well, the seller of the '98 Mauck in question is kind enough to break it down for us. Somehow, the previous owner managed to blow close to the sticker price of a new Lambo on "LED rope lights" and a cool pop-up table on the roof. Huh? Yeah, and believe it or not, the "upgraded" trans and supercharged V8 collectively set him back over $87K. More than $100K was blown on upholstery throughout the passenger compartment and drivers' cab. But only a modest $5858 went into "upgraded" wheels and tires, which for all I can tell look like truck steelies wrapped with cheap-and-nasty commercial Hankooks. I guess the little things add up.
