Yeah I just use it in manual mode, like last night I was literally sitting there for almost an hour taking the same picture over and over again and now I know more about the ISO settings and aperture as well, and how if the shutter speed is too fast like 1/4000 second the picture gets darker as in to taking it at like 1/3 :o I have alot to learn

you can also look up tutorials on youtube im sure theres a lot out there. When i first got my D3000 i got lazy and didnt use it in manual lol until i realized i was not using my cameras full potential, so i forced myself to always shoot on manual. Its harder and i get frustrated, but i know now how to get a good pic, not great, but way better than before haha.

find it cheaper for me then, i didnt want a canon or an ancient model like the d90 anyways not even the d5000 or d3000 because theyre kind of old and i wanted an entry level recent one. yeah actually ive been reading so much up on them and im learning so much nowTamparacing.com, the perfect place to find desperate single men in their 20s and 30s.

Up until a couple months ago, Nikon still didn't have a "pro-sumer" camera that could stand up against the "ancient" D90. The D5100 is only just barely better than it, and the D7000 is better still.
Same goes for Canon. The 5DmkII is old as shit but still the best camera's out in that range.

to each his own, I wanted a new one from a store and it was either a d3000 d3100 or the d5000 for more and obviously the d5100.
its not going to be a camera for a job or something, just for a hobby and to mess around with. and for 599 it was a steal in my opinion for what it does plus it does 1080p video and continuous auto focus. im completely happy with it.Tamparacing.com, the perfect place to find desperate single men in their 20s and 30s.
