Creative exhaustion
After being extremely burnt out on automotive photography for a solid 6 months, and doing a lot of traveling, I'm back. This sub forum seems a bit dead, where is everyone? We had some good talent here for sure.
Creative exhaustion, where do you turn for motivation in times of need? Discuss.TONYMORGAN

Buy new gear
that or just browse through flickr till I see something that motivates me. Try your hand at a type of photography you've never done before, macro, products, action, etc.

When I didn't feel like taking any pictures a while ago, I went to a rental place and rented the 10.5mm fisheye and played around with that for a weekend. That helped spark some stuff, but not really got me back into wanting to shoot. I then started playing around on flickr as said above, and tried to get ideas for new pics. That helped a ton.

Usually a good cruise through flickr will do the trick, or picking up a magazine or two. I was completely burnt out on photography in general.
Taking a nice long break, doing some traveling, seems to have done the trick, some amazing talent out there and I'm getting inspired checking out their work.
Michael, what you doin to the car?TONYMORGAN

Well nothing too major. It's on hold now while I just fix some little BS maintenance gremlins and then its gonna be saving money for my move to PA in the winter. So then its gonna be buying snow gear/equip and tires for the car lol

I don't think I've touched my camera gear in 6 months other than to move it around when I'm looking for something in my closet. Full time school + almost full time job means that my gear is very dusty.
