I'm new too bro. Are you just shooting on AUTO? Read the manual and start reading on forums. And start fucking around with other settings. Shit is fun but A LOT to learn.

I'm going to go ahead and be "That Guy" again.
Why does everyone feel the need to make a "My First Camera" thread and post pictures of whatever happened to be laying around at their feet? Not one of your pictures looks like it came from anything better than a camera phone.
I'm not trying to be a dick, but can you see the problem that would arise from everyone going out, buying a camera, and posting the first 30 crappy pictures they take? I'm all for posting pictures and asking SPECIFIC questions on how to do something or do it better, but what you're doing here is posting a blank picture and asking how it could be better. It's impossible to answer that question because it's impossible to know where to start.
You have to have SOME basic knowledge of cameras or photography as a means of deciphering the advice we might give you.
I give up.

I edited my original post with a more thorough description of why this thread is annoying.
The thing you need to do first is read the stickies at the top of this forum. That alone will put you miles ahead of 90% of the other jerkoffs out there with "prosumer" cameras.
Then, look for pictures that you like in magazines and what not and try to emulate them. Eventually you'll start to learn how shit works and start posting good pictures.

I'm not better than you because I can take better pictures. I'm better than you because I know how to punctuate.
Also, I told him in my second post what he needs to do. You can't give advice to someone who has no base knowledge of what they're doing. If someone picked up a squirt gun and filled it with house paint and tried to paint a car with it, where you would begin in telling them where to improve? This is why I told him to read the stickies at the top of the Photography forum, which contains more than enough information to give him a good start down the right path to good pictures.
In order for someone to be able to learn how to improve, they need to have something upon which they CAN improve. I have no problem seriously critiquing a picture or set that has a lot going for it but could use a little tweak here or there.
This is EXACTLY how I learned. People told me my pictures were shit, and I researched and learned and practiced until I've gotten to where I am. Still learning to this day.
Check out my blog, there's a few lessons in there and my entire photographic history.
Also also: "What you scared?" Seriously? Did I just hit a wormhole and end up back in 6th grade?
