Product photos for friends new clothing line / C&C please

I shot these the other day for a friend who is trying to get a clothing line started up. The original plan was to find a cool location like a fruit stand or orange grove to go along with the name of the company, Citrus, but we haven't found a place yet and he needed a shot or two for his site so we did a quick shoot in my living room. I used three speedlights, one in a 57" brolly camera left, one in a small shoot through umbrella camera right, and the last one behind the white bed sheet... I mean backdrop .

Take a look and lemme know what you think, be brutal if you must.

the 1st one is the only one that screams product to me. the other two doesnt say anything about the shirt.

Yea the first is def my fav, the second is a shot of my friend who started the brand so that was more of a business portrait the product shot lol. Thanks for the relpy

damn thats a very original idea, sounds like it'd be a good name for a skateboarding/sports company. like citrus skateboards/ citrus clothing.... lmk if you wanna do a shoot skating wearing his product, ill be down to contribute with my skills .

I think it's because we're seeing them out of context. If we saw these pictures on a product page for a TShirt, I think they would work perfectly fine.

i agree, i believe if the girls arm wasnt bent as much on pic #1 it wouldve been a better photo, maybe if she had her hands in her back pocket
