Buying DSLR's on Ebay?
Does anyone buy DSLR's on ebay? I've been looking for a Nikon d7000 or a Canon 7d and they are a lot cheaper on Ebay and come with crappy lens kits, but they do come with tripods and camera bags, filters, etc. Has anyone had any experience buying them on Ebay? Are they knockoff camera's? Or should I stick to Best Buy and electronic stores? Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
JRD

If I were spending that much $$ on a new body I would definitely be buying new where I get a real warranty.

When I had my D40, I bought it off E-bay, from a store in New York. Something like that, I would only buy from a store on E-bay, not a private seller.
My D3000 I just got today, I bought at Best Buy, in a package deal.
It's a risk buying anything, from anyone on E-bay, it's just a matter of whether or not you're willing to take that risk.Determined to be famous, destined to be infamous.

If you look On ebay Look at the condition on them before you buy them.
I picked my canon xs Up for about 200$ cheaper than Retail later on when i recieved the camera i noticed it has a tiny refurbished sticker on it...Really for the 200$ i saved im glad i didnt notice that till i got it cause it might of scared me away but iv had my camera for about 2 years now & have never had a single problem.
