Post your rigs
Just like the title says, I've been on another forum and they had this type of thread where you post a photo of your most used rig and discuss why you like it and it usually helps others who are interested in a certain type of shoot--each rig is different, each lens--lights etc.
So pretty much it works like this:
Post a photo of your rig & give us a idea what you use it for and the pro's and con's of the rig.Canon 5D | 50mm 1.4 | 24-70 2.8 | 16-35 2.8 | 85mm 1.4 | 24-105 f4 | 70-200 2.8

Great thread! Unfortunately I have nothing to contribute but I can't wait to learn on how this is all done, the concept, as well as what is used to do this. Look forward to the information as well as photos.

Good idea. Hopefully people will post them up. I've noticed a lot of photographers don't like to share pics of rigs for one reason or another.

On top of my old E46...

Basic EMT rig, Manfrotto cups, Magic arm, safety cable.
I no longer use car rigs, because the trend is on its way out. The biggest key? Static shot blended into rolling shot. If you want it crisp, there is no better way outside of renting a quickrig.Last edited by 8600RPM; 06-04-2010 at 08:03 PM.

Rigs don't have to be car-mount rigs. They can be static rigs, rigs for weddings, rigs for events, etc...

Don't limit your self to car rigs, you can have ton of other style rigs that don't need to be used on cars, could just be sticks, or handheld rigs--light rigs, etc.

Not saying thats not the case I'm just saying don't limit your self to think thats all I am referring to when I say "rigs"
Once I get my Marshal monitor in from B&H I will post my rig up, I'm trying to become a little more versatile so when I shoot weddings or sport events, or corporate projects it'll adapt freely vs something that might not be so flexible.Canon 5D | 50mm 1.4 | 24-70 2.8 | 16-35 2.8 | 85mm 1.4 | 24-105 f4 | 70-200 2.8
