It is so hard to be nice to people on this forum I tell ya...
I'm assuming the M in your avatar is for Moron.
Do you happen to know what the word Ignorant means ? If you do then you will realize the only Ignorant person here is you. You are running your mouth without even knowing the purpose or REASON the bike was wrapped.
This bike along with a wrapped Ducati will be displayed in there booth at a software show. And since the bike is in the booth surrounded by the company logos and information, over crowding the bike with details would just be redundant.
Im sure I.T. guys attending the show will put 2 and 2 together and think "Hey I think this bike is with this company".
I think a wrapped Ducati displayed as a prize for a raffle at a software trade show will ATTRACT new customers.
"I've dealt with "premium vinyl" wrapped vehicles before, and it always bubbles over the emblems before anything else because there is an air pocket that's not properly adhered to the whole surface."
There you go, user-error. Going over emblems require relief cuts and 3M primer to prevent this.Last edited by TampasOriginalSoarer; 06-03-2010 at 05:31 PM.

lol you are one angry defensive guy. keep up the mediocre work! when someone can afford to get a whole wrap done, i'm sure they can afford some new emblems when ''one show'' it's wrapped for is over. that blob in the middle just looks unprofessional.
no reason to respond to this, everyone in here already knows you always think your opinion is the best. This is a stick up, don't make it murder.

I don't know why people a disecting the whole meaning of what was done. Seriously. Just because it doesn't have the Sunbelt logo or anything saying Sunbelt on it doesn't mean people cannot relate or put two and two together.
Perfect example... ad here on TR...

I don't see anywhere stating Sunbelt or even a corporate logo of Sunbelt in that banner ad. So it only makes sense if they are promoting a product why not use the logo they are promoting the product with. IMO, it makes perfect sense if this is at a show/booth and there is already Sunbelt logo or anything Sunbelt already plastered everywhere else. Its showcasing guys.
The OP wanted to show off the work he did, which is nice work. He has nothing to do with the logo. If that is what Sunbelt wanted and how they wanted it then ask Sunbelt why they had it done that way. OP is just doing his job so no reason to discredit.

90% of us do, because it usually is lol. The guy knows his shit, he does this for a living. He posts wraps he's designed and done all the time. TR users have had valve covers wrapped by him and there's not bubbling or peeling due to extremely high temperatures. I think that says something. But yea sure, lets call his work mediocre because of what the customer wanted.
That's exactly what I was thinking of, considering most computer-related companies will go to seminars/shows to promote their product. I don't think it will do much good bringing it to the GP track on a weekend to promote to people who have no idea what they are talking about... lol

IMO, i woud have told the customer about the CBR logo and let him make that choice of going over it or not. Im pretty sure you did that!
Bike came out sick IMO...

you know what?? originally i didnt even notice the emblem after the wrap.. now that it got brought up, i think i does no look bad at all.. i would have actually gone with the costumers choice of keeping it..
first because the bike can be brought back to stock, second because you can tell after the wrap that its a cbr because the emblem is there.. to me its fine.. if there would have been lines or flames or some other odd things on the bike, and he had gone over them then i would not had agreed..
never the less from me you get a 10/10,, over time you have showed your skills and no one can ague that..

Obviously we cant be adults and have debate without resorting to name calling and bickering... so we'll just lock this and move on.

Locked for obvious reasons.
I can't believe that after all of the warnings given over the past few weeks, there is still a great deal of disruptive behavior.
All parties involved, (excluding TampasOriginalSoarer) will be banned from P&G until i see fit for them to return.
