FS/ Vivitar 283 speedlight
Great for starting out or just as a rim light. I used it with many shoots and worked great. I dont need any more. I have my 430exII and my ABR800.
Quality is great. Jacob and Jeff have seen its use and have even used similar speedlights with also great results.

I'd buy it... if I didn't have a bag full of flashes already lol.

Ok yea that's what I ended up at. Looks like around 60 bucs to fire my sb600 and this vivitar. Now I'll need stands and other stuff too. Gotta do some reading to see what modifiers would work for what I like to shoot

Personally I'm not a big fan of the V2's because there so tall which puts a lot of stress on the hot shoe part of the trigger and after awhile you will start getting misfires. This can be prevented however if you instead use a sync cord but the sb600 has no pc sync port and the vivitar has a proprietary (sp?) port.
I would look around ebay for some triggers that have a lower profile or try and get some V4's from gadgetinfinity.com, but if your already sold on the V2's then at least get a couple pc sync to hotshoe adapter to use with your flashes and just have the recievers velcrod to the flash.
Just my two cents...

Well I'm not sure if I'll get the v2's I want at least 3 speedlights for now and eBay I can get a trigger and 3 recievers for like $40. I think that will be fine for now. And leave me with more cash for the stands and modifiers

Go here for your stands. Screw what people say that you have to buy the best, buy once and that's all you'll buy...quite frankly, if they want to buy them, then go right ahead. I'm on a budget, I've had 3 of these for over 8 months and not once have I had a problem with them.
