lol this is OLD news

I posted something up a while ago. Come by North Tampa Photo, we had a few in stock. Its pretty much a D80 with some bits internally from the D300. Its cool and all but its really an updated D80

of course its better than the D80. I didnt say it wasnt better. Point I was getting at was that its old news and its been posted already.

Body only is $999.

Kit, which is more widely available at local shops is 12 or 1300. Includes 18-105 VR lens

They were in stock at Ritz when I was there yesterday. I hinted that I wanted to play with it but they weren't interested in getting it out of the box for me.

HAHA Ritz sucks!!! Come to NTP damnit!!! We cater to people as if they matter, retail stores dont!

And we know our stuff!

The moment we had a chance after we got our 90's in we cracked one open, played with it for a few and showed it off to customers as soon as possible. From what I've seen we've already sold 2 or 3. I'll know tomorrow when I go in.

Pointing out one of the minor factors you should consider when buying a DSLR.

Nice camera none the less.

a big factor is that maybe you should do a lot more research before jumping into a more "advanced/upper level" DSLR

Go into a REAL shop, not a Ritz camera store in the mall, and talk to people about it and hold it in your hands and have them explain stuff. I would do this if you came in to North Tampa Photo. We currently have about 5 D90's I think
