Point and shoot photoshoot

ok, im a video guy but i like photography as well. so today i got motivated to take some pics of the car and i just wanted some input and cc from you all. i didnt use a tripod which i know i should but i had little battery life and didnt want to take up all the time setting up shots. I also used all the auto settings but there didnt seem to be much to adjust anyways.

Nice shots even not for a point shoot. I like the ideas of the wheel shot. Its a new twist on an old idea. Great work!

thanks for the input and advice. i was really pleased with how the lighting worked out for that second shot i didnt even mean to set it up for that and noticed it right before i was about to move the car and took some shots. now i been considering selling the video equipment and getting a nice dslr after this small shoot i kinda feel addicted lol. i'll probly just save up and get one eventually so then i can have the best of both worlds.
