The last one's my favorite too Skwirt. You're certainly improving.

Some of your others (4, 6, 7, 9, 13) seem to be have very gray blacks if you know what I mean, you might be able to adjust the levels and/or contrast to bring them back to normal levels.

Are you tone mapping with photomatix? If so, try backing off the top slider a little bit.

That first pic with the alligator I spent like 5mins looking and thinking "I know theres an alligator here somewhere!!". Then when I saw it in the 2nd pic I checked #1 and found it immediately.
