Wow this is bad..

I havnt had my gear for over a month..and I am ordering parts for my secret build.

List of new stuff -

Nifty Fifty 1.8 Canon
Manfrotto Head with different mounts
angle mount
2 suction cups.

Misc other parts.

Hopefully camera will be back this week, so I can test out this stuff.

Update on camera -
Replaced barrel on lens(since fuckers drilled holes in it)
Replaced flash mod
Replaced EOS Sensor
Replaced Sensor board

Hopefully it will be good and fixed because I am already lining shit up that I missed, and will be coming back 10 fold.

I actually love my XTi...if they would just FIX it correctly.

Well just got off the phone with Best Buy. Now they are waiting on a approval to give me a new camera.

I went buy last week, and they said they were repairing the flash and the board...well someone there must have had sticky fingers and majorly f-ed it up.

So now I wait for BB Corporate to reply. But I am not going to wait on them, I have been with out a camera for over 2 months now. I will be going by to day and see what I can get BY this weekend.

Worst thing about it is I have a Extra battery, battery grip and over 6 gig worth of stuff I cant use unless they have a XTi, and give me the difference.

grrr...sorry to vent.

That blows Chris. Even if you get an XSi instead of an XTi, at least it's new right? You could sell it off and buy another XTi and come out on top.

Yea but I would have to turn it around in 24-48 hours to get a XTi. I am needing a camera for next weekends event.

I was just at BB, and they said the camera is repaired just waiting on authorization...WTF?! I told them I am needing it back ASAP or I will be contacting my lawyer about this.

Lenses yes.

Batteries no & Cards

They changed to SD and to a slimline battery. That was one of the first things I looked at.

All i want is my gear, or a camera. It fuckin sucks I got a really good deal on a 50mm with 2 filters, Canon hood, and bag for 90$ shipped....and I cant even play with it.

Well talked to them again last night this time to the Geek Squad/Service manager.

He said I should hear something today and they will 95% will be junking out the camera. Someone at Percision Camera messed up the main board for the camera.

As long as I get the price that is on the receipt for the camera I will be happy, then ill get either the XSi...if I really want it, or I will go to Citrus Park and pick up a XTi and have about 300 in my pocket(prob pick up a lens or 360).
