Depends on your budget.
I recently had a 7mp Kodak Z-series with image stabilization that produced some pretty good images. You can probably pick one up for around $250.

well what are you looking for, zoom, fits in your pocket, ease of use?

i dont really care if it fits in my pocket. the one i have now doesnt. a nice zoom would be nice. ease of use is always a plus
not trying to be so vague, but just not sure what to look for. the mian thing i would be taking pics of are the cars and the family outings to beaches, or theme parks, stuff like that. i would like a quality photo though.+
how bout this one? http://www.walmart.com/search/browse...&catNavId=3959Last edited by zaksblaklabel; 05-15-2008 at 05:17 PM.

pretty much any canon p&s would fill those shoes, like these:
Canon PowerShot SX100 IS digital camera specifications: Digital Photography Review
Canon PowerShot S5 IS digital camera specifications: Digital Photography Review
