Got a new monitor... needs calibrating
What are you guys using to calibrate your monitors?
I just got a 24", after giving up on using Natural Color & the NVIDIA control panel to calibrate\adjust the colors on my Dual 18" setup to get the LCD's to match.
Problem I have now is that the MagicTune software that came with my 24" monitor is not compatible with my Video card, so it would just hang trying to write or modify the ICC\ICM profile.
I've heard of other tools such as Spyder & Huey, thinking of going that route. Wondering what you guys are using on here.I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it

Well I bought last night, spyder2express... I'll be sure to run some tests & provide a review.
I used Adobe Gamma for now, and ended up with a much more darker monitor. But the problem with Adobe Gamma is that you have to use your eyes. But I guess it's better than nothing for now.
I did resubmit my May entry and it does look better to me with the new monitor. I bet it probably looks too bright or washed out to everyone else... I'll print the photo this weekend and see how far off I am with Adobe Gamma. This way I'll have a referrence for the review.I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it

The monitor does have an Auto caibration option, but it is not available with the Digital input... only for the Analog VGA input.
