Best in what respect?
There are lots of things to consider:
Size/Weight
Focal Length
Resolution
What sort of size are you looking for? That's the best place to start.

Mine. S3IS for $200. 256MB card and rechargable battery if you want them as well. Holds like 400pics with the M2 setting of 1600x1200. Or 3mins or so of video.
Let me know

i too am looking for a point and shoot under $200. i went to circuit city today and looked at these three
Cannon powershot A590
Buy the Canon PowerShot A590 IS 8-Megapixel Digital Camera and other Digital point-and-shoot cameras at circuitcity.com
and the Nikon coolpix l18
Buy the Nikon Coolpix L18 8-Megapixel Digital Camera - Red and other Digital point-and-shoot cameras at circuitcity.com
and the Nikon Coolpix S210
Buy the Nikon Coolpix S210 8.1-Megapixel Digital Camera - Black and other Digital point-and-shoot cameras at circuitcity.com
All are 8 megapixels
the cannon has a 5x optical vs the 3x optical of the nikons
all of the other features, i have no idea about
i like the S210's size and price
Can someone tell me what the other features do?
im just looking for a camera to carry around and takes random pictures of the family. i'm not looking to take macro pics of little bugs or super zoomed HD shots of the moon, lol
thanks TR
