Not local but if you don't mind doing it online you should try Mpix.com . Quality is exceptional, prices very good, and they get it to you within days.

Ok here's a bit of info that you might find useful, even though ti doesn't answer your question directly. If this is info you already have, I apologize. Here are a couple of things to take note of: 1.) You can't print bigger than 20x30 even with 8mp 2.) You can print bigger than 20x30 with 8mp.
Here's what I mean:
1.) If you read through the Nikon forums on dpreview.com, you'll find that people are having plenty of good results printing a full size 6mp image at 20x30". With that in mind, 8mp is 33% larger so you should be able to make it way bigger... right?... Wrong. If you get into the mathematics of it, your increase of 2mp really doesn't allow you to print much larger pictures.
Let's analyze the math little bit:
20x30 = 600sq inches
600sq in / 6mp = 100sq in per megapixel
8mp * 100 sq in =800 sq in @ 8mp.
Break that down into 2x3 aspect ratio and you get a whopping 23" x 34.5"
Basically you're dealing with a square function instead of a simple linear function so as your megapixels go up you really start to get diminishing returns.
2.) As your size increases, your viewing distance increases. You wouldn't view a billboard from three feet away, and in the same respect you won't view a large print from up close. Because of this, you can cut down on the number of dots per inch.
Hope that helps you.Last edited by .:Chris:.; 04-30-2008 at 02:47 PM.

Target, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS... they all print photos. Their quality isn't up to par with the quality of real photo labs and their prices are usually more expensive. Also, they don't print large sizes locally. The only local place that prints large size, that I know of, is Ritz... and a couple of people I know have had issues with banding there.

RitzPix | Order, Develop, Print & Share Digital Photos Online | Ritz & Wolf Camera They are located in Westshore, International, and University. Haven't had any prints done by them yet, but they seem to be a nice camera store! It's my number one resource with several products they offer!
But be careful when printing large pics with them or even anyone, make sure they don't have to crop the image or when you shoot the picture make sure you are saving it as a large image so it can be either sized down or blown up real huge! <-[Oops, didn't read your whole post, just noticed the help sign lol]
Good luck, hope I helped!Last edited by TYJaMO; 05-01-2008 at 07:14 PM.
