I actually bought a D40 to have pictorial memories of the Honda Grand Prix, little did I know I would fall in love with taking pictures.

I wanted to gather some of my "nice" shots to hopefully be accepted in the P&G forum!

New lenses for me won't be anytime soon! I'm pretty set with what I have; a 18-55mm kit lens and a 70-300mm MF which isn't so bad since most of my shots off it won't be fast action shots that require quick focusing!

If Santa would pay me a visit he'd drop off either a SB-600 [if they even fit the entry D40], a low mm wide angle lens [probably fisheye combo], or adobe photoshop

Well the next time P&G does a group session, count me in!

The SB-600 does fit the D40, as does the little known SB-400 and the higher SB-800. If I were you, I'd get SB-400. I often wish the 400 was out when I bought my flash, as having a big flash on-top of the camera is annoying and unweildy. (There has to be a better way of mounting a flash than a hotshoe, but that's another story entirely.)

Getting photoshop is easy.
