I don't know a lot about autocrossing, but that car was just strangely stable at any speed. I wasn't able to drive it, but just riding in the passenger seat was enough. Everytime we went around a corner my friend would go "Watch this!" and take it faster than the previous one... but it never managed to lose traction. The thing has zero body roll.

With that being said, I couldn't bring myself to buy one even if I could afford it. I feel like there are certain things that cars must have, and they're all missing on the lotus. The "trunk" is a small tray in the engine compartment. The seats are on the floor and the sill under the door makes getting into them awkward and unsightly.

Put it this way (seeing you dont know too much about Auto-Xing...) I can go up an on-ramp at 76mph before I begin to lose traction ~> The Lotus will pass me like I'm standing still! ~> My car is ridiculously braced and I highly doubt there is any body roll on my car! ~> The inside doesnt look like it would be too comfortable with the door sills taking up 1/2 of your leg room? But then again, What do I know? I drive a Honda Del Sol .
